Artist Aisha Madu created the work, PAWS, based on stories of more than 60 residents and entrepreneurs from Uilenstede. Aisha translated the warm and safe feeling of Uilenstede campus into a work of art on which you can take a seat. In the security of the paws you can read a book or have a picnic, for a moment embraced, or even carried on your hands. The paws also refer to stories about animals on campus - according to many residents, the cats, rabbits and owls make life on campus feel both homely and 'green'.
